Why be on the QAS Website?
Getting yourself & your artwork online has become so much easier. But why do it?? What benefits are there for having your work online?
Here is an outline; your artwork is exposed to an unlimited buying audience. Having an effective web presence raises your professional profile; there's now an expectation that if you are running any kind of business you will have some kind of online presence. Your website is your 24 hour portfolio, anyone can look at anytime and you can e-mail links with your new artwork to potential buyers and businesses (for example galleries who may like to hang your work).
Being included in a website like QAS will also help you to be found through the search engines (for example Google), and send more online visitors your way. People who have never heard of you or weren't specifically looking for you will have more chance of finding your work online.
The Internet is a tool we can all embrace and it can work for you as an artist. I like to think of my website as an extension of myself and have found it to be an invaluable resource for my artwork.
