Imagine

Craggy peak after craggy peak enclosing snow-fed tumbling streams; or level river flats meandering in ribbons of icy water to immeasurably deep alpine lakes; or wind tossed tussock meadows enfolding softer landforms. You have imagined the home of the Queenstown Art Society.

Noeline Murch

Painter of beautiful landscapes and flowers

I have a particular interest in the beautiful Fiordland area of New Zealand, with its beech forest often partially covered in mist, high snowy mountains, rivers and waterfalls.
The opposite extreme is the barren, tussock covered rolling hills of Central Otago, which are quite dramatic.
My other love is my garden and I enjoy painting my flowers, particularly the peonies and large poppies.
All of my work is done in oils.
