Local Artist Spike Wademan has won many local Art Awards and teaches painting skills on a regular basis for the Queenstown Art Society. Last year two of his paintings were accepted for the Maritime Art Exhibit, at the Coos Art Museum, in Coos Bay, Oregon, U.S.A., one of which sold. He is now a professional member of the ISMP.

Last year two of his paintings were accepted for the 30th International Maritime Art Exhibition, at Mystic Seaport, near Boston, on the East coast of America.

Quote from a student “Spike teaches in a clear and easy manner & always makes me feel that I am really achieving something in his art classes. He is a brilliant artist him self, and a real character, which makes for a most interesting class, full of fun!”

In this workshop you will earn how to make water look real.

This exciting class is to be held 10 am to 4pm in the QAS rooms, corner of Ballarat & Stanley Sts and is available to members and non- members. Both beginners & advanced students are welcome, as Spike will teach collectively and individually over the course of the weekend.
